Earthquake details

Since January 28th, the island of Santorini has experienced a significant increase in seismic activity. More than 1022 earthquakes with magnitudes up to 5.2 have been recorded. These earthquakes are concentrated about 25 kilometers northeast of Santorini and 25 kilometers southwest of Amorgos islands.

We understand that this is not an easy situation for the people of the region, so please listen to the Greek authorities and be aware that, as usual, many people are making nosense statements on social media. Stay safe.
